Forests and Biodiversity

Immediate actions need to occur while the convention is put into effect. These include: developing national strategies and plans for protecting biodiversity, conducting biodiversity surveys and inventories, establishing a network of national parks and protected areas, and establishing provisions for protecting endangered species and degraded lands.
