Catalogues
The Library today maintain catalogues of two formats:
- Electronic catalogue
- Bulletin catalogue
Its Bulletin Catalogue
In the bulletin catalogue all the writers, titles and subjects
are found alphabetically, till 1994. The index is separated into:
1. Alphabetic catalogue of Greek writers and Greek titles.
2. Alphabetic catalogue of foreign writers and titles.
3. Thematic catalogue.
Cataloguing has been done according to AACR 2 rules. Subjects
are based on the thematic catalogue of the Library of Congress,
the thematic captions of the National Library, as well as on social
and civic sciences thesaurus.
The Electronic Catalogue
This catalogue contains the bibliography from 1995 to present
. The Library, has as early as 1996, started the stage retrospective
cataloguing of its material. In this electronic catalogue the
material can be searched by, the writer, title, or by compination
of words related to the issues responding to the whole of the
material (monographs, periodic statistics), from 1995 to present.
The research of the electronic catalogue (opac) is done either
through EKKE or through INTERNET at 194.30.213.90 IP.
