LIAISON OFFICE
EKKE's Liaison Office
runs since 1996, and is subjected to the Research Support
Administration. It was founded as a development project within
EPET II and later on it was financed by EKKE.

The object of the Liaison Office is:
- Propulsion of substantial products and EKKE work in total,
to private and public organisations in Greece and abroad.
- Diffusion of information about EKKE and its activities by
optimising and updating the concerning info data, EKKE's web
page design etc.
- Designing and running NIB as a system of scientific and researching
information and facilitating access to social data
- Tracking society needs for research products and applications
based on research and participating in satisfying them through
and from EKKE deeds.
- Constant bringing up to date for EKKE researchers in researching
possibilities and elaboration possibilities for new deeds, european,
international and domestic programs etc.
It also pursues:
- Making public the research deeds and services that EKKE provides
or can provide.
- Tracking the users needs, and contributing in their confrontation
by coordinating their collaboration with EKKE.
- Organize an information centre for social research.
To fulfill these goals the Liaison Office participates in european
and greek networks, and is linked with greek and international data
bases and info banks. With its action it supports the running and
expansion of EKKE's Social
Data Bank and especially Deed
and Organisation Files of the Special
Info Bank by taking advantage of the up to date experience and its
contacts for the promotion and diffusion of SDB deeds in the scientific
& research community.
