Legal Status

The Organisation is Association of citizens since 1976

Aims

We gather young people, particularly students and high scholars that are interested in scientific work. We organize

research work, projects, camps and environmental summer schools and different courses disseminating information

on the science and scientific research work among the young. We strive for an adequate verification and affirmation

of our results. We also collaborate with different eco organizations known worldwide having the exchange

programmes with them and organizing various exchange vols. projects within the year.

The researchers have been done on the following areas: area of Timok river, area of Južna Morava river, Belgrade,

Oblačinsko lake, Vranje, Užice, Stara mountain, Stol mountain, Zlotska gorge, Ovčarsko-Kablarska gorge, Šara

mountain, Obedska Pond, Medvednik-Maljen-Povlen mountains, Žagubica, Beljanica mountain, Bački Monoštor,

Sava river, Knjaževac, Deliblato sands

Mutual exchange of the information with the society for study and protection of the above mentioned areas

Interferences in local communities

Result of these researches have been published into the scientific publications such as: official reports,

proceedings, monographies including educational and promotive issues

With the environmental education activities, with interventions, planned and implemented actions within the eco-

schools, we put the foundation stones necessary for the future generations. Additionally, some of the programmes

has been translated in English, in order to be used as a guide material for similar educational programmes in

neighboring Balkan countries. The pupils aged 13-15 participating in our eco-schools are able to attend some of

the international environmental work camps afterwards held in the country or abroad

lectures, slide presentations and tracking tours

spreading the idea of constant environmental monitoring within the young volunteers
