II. Activities

General Issue: Information - sensitization of the public (Environmental education,

Citizens information, Campaigns, Publishes)

Activities - Resaults:

Organized lectures and maintenance of number of endangered species. Cooperation with local media and public to

inform about existence of endangered areas, greatest polluters and polluting substances

By local media, public of Pančevo is informed about pollution of living environment and that's how the pressure

and attention on problems are expanded (this is for entire complex of Pančevo)

In some Pančevo's elementary schools, there was a competition with ecological themes from: Serbian and art.

Symbolic rewards were given for children's meeting with ecological problems and scientific behavior toward living

Activities - Resaults:

In cooperation with oil refinery Pančevo and it's lab's we followed start up their technological plants for reduction

of air pollution, as common cooperation, not conflict. Cooperation with local authorities of Pančevo in monitoring

of ecosystems where flora and fauna are saved.

Now, analysis of damage in area of Njivice is done, endangered by construction of irrigation channel. Initiation of

activity for organizing of eco camp for education of young to keep clean and meet with nature of eco system of

On refinery's call, we participated in talk with director and our complaints were presented and incompletely adopted

and public of Pančevo was informed

Further construction of canal in area of Njivice is stopped and done proposal by local authorities for revitalization

project in this area
