II. Activities

General Issue: Promotion of a natural way of life

Abandonment of mega-agriculture, mega-aviculture and animal transportation. Promotion of vegitarianism and

natural products. Publication of a poster, cards, press releases, interviews, speeches e.t.c.

Activities - Results:

The prohibition of experiments made on animals is promoted. Around 15 demonstrations have been taken place

throughout Greece as well as in Rome, Brussels, London and Paris.

Prohibition of the use of animals as a public show (such as in circuses, zoos, delphinariums e.t.c). Collection of 15,000

signatures. Entering dozens of protests at various zoos (since 1986).

Entering preotests in collaboration with various Stray Animals protection societies and participation in discussion in

the Ministry of Agriculture. Publicaiton of posters and cards (since 1986).

Organisation of more than 100 speeches at schools around the country / Dispatch of a press release to all major

newspapers whenever this is considered necessary (i.e. a death of a bear, animal rights day).

Carrying out of speeches with the attendance of Pindos residents in relation to the need to protect the bear /

Entering a symbolic protest in Valia Kalda in collaboration with foreign naturalist societies (1989).
