Aims

Publishing magazine and printed matter/ Information center has been established and is now functioning /

organizing courses, educational projections, speeches, conferences / planning studies, measuring liquid, solid and

atmospheric substances, consumer products quality exams

Measuring industrial wastes / submitting suggestions to enterprises and organizations by the subject working

conditions of the employees, water management, recycling liquid wastes / cooperating with other relevant

Submission of proposals and studies on the creation of an integrated water resources management system, in

collaboration with 11 prefectures.

Organisation of lectures - participation in radio and T.V. programmes in collaboration with agency scientists.

Undertaking of translation work with the view of informing the public.

Submission of a proposal for the organisation of a Pan-Hellenic conference under the title: Environmental Protection

- Water Reuse (industries, waste, management).

Submission of memorandums to the prime minister, the government, the Ministers and members of the Parliament, in

relation to the creation of a flexible and effective communication among the agencies involved in water resources

Result: Discussions at the Parliament and exchange of documentation between the Prime Minister's office and

Ministers in relation to relevant issues.

Furthermore, submission of up-dated questions from members of the Parliament to the competent ministries.

Notification of the existing problems to the regional authorities, prefects, mayors (solutions were found to the

Since the day the NGO was founded,journalists seem to believe that we are a good informative source when

concerning the health, quality, and quantity of drinking water and the geotechnical and geological problems

connected with the abuse of waterbeds.
