Protection of forest systems and especially of interurban forests of Thessalonikis / Guarding forest areas in the

summer months / aforestation and protection of wild life

Participation with other environmental organisations of Thessalonica in protests against the turning of Chortiatis

forest area by KISSOS company into building-plots - lodging of an appeal to the State Council

Participation in the campaign organised by the Citizens Union, in numerous events, lectures and film screening with

the purpose of protecting suburban woods.

Submission of a study to Thessalonica forest inspection so that hunting is forbidden at suburban Kouri and Chortiati

forests, maintaining that there is a dynamic competition between hunting and recreation activities; the later having a

dominant presence in these forests.

Elaboration of seminars with the co-operation of Triandria municipality regarding the measures necessary to deal

with forest fires.
