The organisation has access to personal computer and it is mainly uses it for Data base / organization of the

library / copywriter / Access to Internet

There are databases in Paper its morph and structure is Thematic (there is an electronic file) / file of publications

which includes almost every publication that has circulated from Environmental Organizations in Greece

II. Activities

General Issue: Information - Sensitisation of the public

Activities - Results:

Launching an informational campaign against Nestos dams in collaboration with WWF Greece, the Greek

Ornithological Society, the Greek Society for the Protection of Nature, the Greek Society and the Society for the

Protection of Nature and Eco-Development.

Launching an informational campaign with the co-operation of all the local environmental groups against the building

of Chortiatis area. Judicial decision from the State Council is pending.

The reason for that the situation with Chortiatis area is unclear is the enormous financial interests involved.

Participation in Thessalonica's Citizens Union campaign for the suburban forests.

Elaboration of environmental education programmes involving 19 school classes of the primary schools of Sikeon

municipality. The themes included: 'Man and Nature', 'Chortiatis forest', 'Lets bring Koronia Lake back to life'.

Elaboration of a pilot environmental education programme at a high-school of Sikea municipality entitled 'The forests

surrounding our town', with the voluntary participation of the students.

Participation in the international youth meeting on environmental education held in Kriopigi of Chalkidiki.
