Interventions made to the ministries, prefectures, regional authorities in relation to the prohibition of hunting and the

tackling of waste pollution as well as against the use of pesticides.

Interventions made in collaboration with Konitsa community against EURODERM tannery since it was discharging its

waste to Aoos river without having processed it properly

Interventions made to the prefecture in collaboration with the Association of Amateur Fishermen, against a fish farm

at Gianneta of Konitsa since it was discharging its waste to Voidamatis river.

Interventions made to the ministries, the European Union and international organisations against the Public

Electricity Company's plans for the construction of operation of a dam in Valia Kalda national Park (positive result).

Interventions made to the prefecture, the European Union, the local press, against the construction of a dam at

Arachthos river by the Public Electricity Company.

Interventions were made to the prefecture and the European Union against the construction of a cable railway at

Timfi of Konitsa. The construction of the project was cancelled.

Interventions made to the prefecture and the competent ministries against the illegal drilling of water within the

national park of Aristi community (the case is pending).

Provision of information to environmental organisations / Interventions made to ministries, prefectures, regional

authorities and the European Union / Publications to the local press/ Production of radio-TV programmes in order to

terminate the opening up new roads which provide access to grasslands.

The result was the cancellation of the construction of some roads.

programme and the protection of the natural environment during his visit in Hperous.

Lodging a complaint to the Ministry of Agriculture and the General Directorate of Forests against the operation of

illegal drawing of drinking water from Arvanita area of Iliochoro community.

natural beauty. All these activities came to nothing so far.

Interventions made in collaboration with the University of Ioannina, the Perivleptos community and other agencies in

relation to the operation of ELVIEX plant which is owned by the Public Electricity Company (pollution of water

resources Toumba' s urban waste discharge). The plant is still in operation.
