The distortion of the traditional character of the square of the city was inhibited due to several interventions made to

the municipal council and the mobilisation of the citizens

24 hour occupation of Plati Giali port protesting against the sitting of BBI' s toxic waste factory

Organisation of a round table debate involving Patras University professors.

Publication to the local press and radio programme making (positive result)

Participation and expression of opinion, in the Astakos meeting. The subject of the meeting was the development of

Platygialos; a development that takes into account environmental issues.

Attempts were made against the drawing water of Trichonida lake to supply Athens with drinking water / Mobilisation

of local residents, demonstrations took place which resulted in the cancellation of the project

Interventions were made along with a local society, against the construction of a road alongside Acheloos river bank
