Reading the digital divide through the data of the World Internet Project

This paper attempts a comprehensive and multi-layered reading and interpretation of the empirical data of WIP Greece in relation to the digital divide (differences and inequalities of internet access) in Greece. A number of factors will be analysed  such as socio-economic status, employment , the gender dimension, the age, etc. Also, a comparative reading will be presented in relation to other countries (members of WIP),  in order to outline the position of Greece at the international level.
