1. Access to Open Catalogue (OPAC)

 

The collection of the library covers a wide scientific range of subjects with emphasis on: Sociology, Anthropology, Demography, Criminology, Education, Religion, History, social policy and Social Exclusion, Methodology, Immigration and Migration, Family, Economics, Political Sciences, Philosophy, Psychology.

 

The collection consists of several types of material:

  • About 35.000 monographs 
  • 350 journal subscriptions
  • Other Organizations’ Publications

 

In addition, the library consists of about  2.000 copies on the subject of migration [acquired as a donation following the abolition of the Institute of Migration Policy (IMEPO).

 

2. Access to HEAL-Link

 

The library through Heal-Link portal has full-text access to electronic journals and books and to bibliographic databases. The access to database is only achieved through EKKE’s network.

 

3. Access to Web of Science (WoS)

The library through Web of Science (WoS) portal  has to 3 citation index databases (Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, and Social Sciences Citation Index)

 

4. Circulation

 

EKKE Library provides borrowing services. All members (internal users) of the research community of EKKE are eligible to borrowing material. External users do not have the right to borrow material; however they may use library material indoors or make photocopies.
