Does rising Euroscepticism pose a threat to the existence of the EU? How can the European Union protect itself?

Increasing Euroscepticism is a phenomenon rising in most European countries. Nevertheless, Euroscepticism differs a lot from country to country. The paper uses the terms “hard” and “soft" Euroscepticism to distinguish differences between the relations of countries and political parties to the EU. It also presents statistical data that prove the rise of Euroscepticism especially in Greece and other European countries and lastly proposes some changes at the institutional level and regarding policies in order to overpass Euroscepticism.
