National Identity

The Greek heritage of the antiquity, language and the Greek Orthodox church are the most important elements of the Greek national identity. The majority of the population is proud of their nationality and have a positive attitude towards Europe, since a stable majority of the population regard themselves as both Greeks and Europeans.
