Promoting labour well-being in a ‘classless’ society: an initial examination of the unfulfilled prophecy

With the current chapter we aim to contribute in the debate regarding the quality of work within the context of the contemporary postindustrial economies. We analyze empirical data that undermine the argument of de-proletarianization of the workforce, particulary in what concerns contingent employment.
